Prairie Co-operative is hiring a full time Assistant Bakery/Deli Manager  at our Food Centre located in Fort Qu'Appelle, Sk.

What you'll do:
The Assistant Bakery/Deli Manager is responsible for managing workflow through schedules, assigning tasks, and coaching employees. Ensures orders are fulfilled accurately in a timely manner. Identifies areas for improvement and provides operational leadership to the team.
Will provide support to recruitment, training, and development of employees with the assistance of the Fresh Food Manager.
Fosters a positive work environment that enables engagement of all team members.
Responsible for completing performance reviews with assistance from the Fresh Food Manager
Ensures prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service is provided at all times.
Promotes and ensures all company, food, and safety policies and regulations are met.
Assist the Fresh Food Manager with administration and achievement of budgeted department goals and provide support in brand initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
If you are looking for a career in retail store operations and:
You have one year of experience in retail/customer service, preferably supervisory and grocery.
You have the ability to acquire PME, Foodwise, and First Aid certification.
You have a valid Class 5 Driver's License
You have the ability to lift up to 50lbs
Grade 12 is preferred
You are honest and trustworthy
You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions.
