Position Summary
The Special Events & Visitor Experience Assistant supports major events, activations, and front-line visitor engagement. Working across event sites, the airport, hotels, and the Visitor Centre, you act as a knowledgeable ambassador while ensuring smooth event delivery and positive visitor experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Support event logistics, setup, execution, and wrap-up, including coordination with partners, volunteers, and vendors. Assist with pre-event planning, post-event reporting, and content coordination. Deliver front-line visitor service, provide recommendations, and support activations across the city. Maintain Visitor Centre operations, assist with retail and inventory, and distribute promotional materials. Track visitor interactions and support reporting. Provide administrative support for membership, meetings, and facility coordination.

Qualifications
Post-secondary student or recent graduate in a related field. Experience in customer service, events, hospitality, or retail is an asset. Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and a valid Class 5 drivers licence required.
