The Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with the health care team and community groups/organizations to provide primary health care services to patients, clients and members of the RCC. The Nurse Practitioner assesses patients, diagnoses, and treats uncomplicated episodic illnesses, screens for and monitors common chronic diseases. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the care of clients both independently and collaboratively with a physician depending on the complexity of the clients needs.
