Description

Under the direction of the Director of Operations, the Urban Services Resource Coordinator(s) will coordinate all aspects of the urban offices located in Southern and Northern Saskatchewan assisting Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nation members with job searches, outside resources, guidance and any additional administrative support as required.

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations and/or as part of the various workgroups and teams, the Urban Services Resource Coordinator performs the following services within the framework of Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nations core policies, functions and governance on behalf of the Nations membership.

General duties:

-General administration duties including preparation of reports for Director of Operations and Chief & Council.
-Photocopying, faxing; running reports and maintaining resource materials.
-Maintain a current logbook for clients on a daily basis.
-Ability to assist clients with job searches - Provides support to clients with resumes as required.
-Identify and direct community supports, i.e.; make referrals to supportive services, food bank, family programming.
-Ability to assist members in identifying their needs through assessment and can direct clients to appropriate next steps.
-Prepare annual budget for the urban office; prepare monthly reports for newspaper, prepare reports for the Annual Report.
-Fundraising; preparing proposals for funding opportunities.
-Other tasks and duties as assigned by the program manager
-Provides basic information in-person and via telephone/email/fax
-Maintains office security and awareness by following safety procedures and monitoring visitor access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
