Description

Stevenson Industrial Refrigeration is a small family-owned industry leader in construction and service of industrial refrigeration equipment. Providing maintenance and service to a variety of industries including Recreational facilities, Food production and storage, and Industrial gas compression. With locations in Regina and Saskatoon we are able to deliver excellent customer service across the province.

We are looking to expand our work force with a Journeyperson or Apprentice Refrigeration tech.

The successful candidate should be an apprentice or journeyperson Refrigeration Mechanic, with a valid drivers license and appropriate tools for the job.

Responsibilities:
Install new equipment, and construction of refrigeration plants
Perform maintenance and service of refrigeration equipment
Maintain a safe and tidy workspace
Inspecting product quality and installation to ensure conformance and customer satisfaction
Documenting service and installation actions by completing required reports and logs
Other duties as assigned
Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks

Skills:
Knowledge of basic refrigeration concepts
Electrical troubleshooting and diagnosing
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Exercises sound judgement and maintains a professional demeanor
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Problem solving and improvisation
General knowledge of pipefitting/welding procedures.
Safety focused
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Experience & Qualifications:

Journeyperson Refrigeration Mechanic Certification / or certified Apprentice
Available for on call shifts
Experience with ammonia not required but would be beneficial
Valid class 5 driver's license

Driver's license (preferred)
Safety documentation (preferred)
Air conditioning & refrigeration license (preferred)
