Reporting to the Lab & Diagnostics Supervisor, the positions will perform full scope Laboratory,ECG, holter monitoring, and medical imaging duties for detection, prevention, and managementof physiological and pathological conditions.
The CLXT works closely with all departments of ANHH, the File Hills QuAppelle Tribal Council(FHQTC) Health Services, and the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) to delivery safe, accurate, and high-quality testing services and a commitment to Truth and Reconciliation.
Graduate of approved Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technician program
Licensed and registered by the Saskatchewan Association of Combined Laboratory and X-RayTechnicians (SACLXT)
Completion of Immunology (IMMU193), Cardiac Markers (CHEM 1808), Blood Gases (CHEM289)and Therapeutic Drugs and Drugs of Abuse (CHEM 1807) courses are required or must bewilling to complete
Experience working as a CLXT in a rural setting and with Indigenous clients is an asset
