Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time temporary Pharmacist from June 1, 2026 - September 11, 2027, at our Clinic Pharmacy location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do:
Partner with our committed community pharmacy team to provide a full range of pharmacy services.
Embrace opportunities to utilize advanced scope of practice.
Ensure patient safety through accurate prescription verification, appropriate medication use, and effective patient counseling.
Promote quality improvement by identifying and addressing medication errors, workflow inefficiencies, and opportunities to enhance pharmacy services.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Provide education to clients and other healthcare professionals.
Prescription processing, dispensing, verification, and required record keeping.
Compound in accordance with NAPRA guidelines.
Exercise professional judgement and practice within federal, and provincial, legal and regulatory requirements, Pharmacist Code of Conduct, NAPRA standards of practice and Lake Country Co-op policies.
Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy technicians and assistants.
Manage inventory, ordering, and control of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
Adhere to and enforce the Safety Management and Asset Protection systems, and training requirements.
You are looking for a career in a progressive, patient-centred Pharmacy and:
You have an accredited Pharmacy Degree with successful completion of Saskatchewan licensing requirements and are in
good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals.
You have previous Saskatchewan pharmacist experience; Co-operative Retailing System experience is deemed an asset.
