Description

What you'll do:
- Manage, organize, and control the maintenance inventory
- Complete cost analysis to ensure purchasing stays within budget.
- Schedule and oversee all deliveries to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Perform routine inventory counts.
- Ensure all equipment and tools abide by the OH&S requirements by completing regular maintenance and routine check-ups on the equipment
being used.
- Work with suppliers to ensure purchases are cost effective while maintaining quality.
- Manage and organize supply requests from the maintenance staff.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including the safe lifting, moving, and handling of appliances.

What you will need:
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
- A clear Criminal Record Check

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of inventory control and/or purchasing experience while working in the construction industry.
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, complete, and logical manner both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of the tendering and contract administration process with the ability to negotiate
purchasing prices.
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines and handling a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge and experience with procurement, purchasing, and inventory control procedures.
- Ability to think critically, solve problems, make decisions individually and as a team.
- Ability to maintain a high level of detail in a fast-paced work environment is necessary.
- Ability to safely lift and move items up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Proficient in standard computer technology and applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
- A Supply Chain Management diploma is considered an asset.
