Description

Touchwood Child and Family Services Inc. are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to fill two Community Support Worker (CSW) positions. The (CSW) provides a holistic approach to supporting family wellness and promoting the well-being of children, families, and the broader community. Services are grounded in First Nation Principles & Values of community and wholistic program planning and development; respect the familys preferred beliefs and emphasize active family involvement. The CSW works collaboratively with community-based programs, and TCFS Inc. staff to deliver early int
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with TCFS Inc. staff, community resources, and external agencies to identify and access preventative programs and services.
Design and implement age-appropriate activities and programming that foster family wellness, connection, and togetherness.
Facilitate parenting workshops focused on child development, positive parenting strategies, and strengthening overall community wellness.
Work collaboratively as part of a team and follow direction from supervisors.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Redmane database.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications
Diploma or Certificate in Social Work or a related discipline; or a combination of recognized training and three to five (35) years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to assess and identify risks, develop action plans, and refer to and engage appropriate resources.
Strong professional judgment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Valid Class 5 drivers license, a satisfactory drivers abstract, and access to a reliable vehicle.
Successful completion of a criminal record check, vulnerable sector check, and drug and alcohol testing. Mus demonstrate the ability and willingness to promote and adhere to a positive and healthy lifestyle.
