Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salon Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our salon. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for the beauty industry. ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE LICENSED HAIR STYLISTS.

We offer a guaranteed wage of $18.00 per hour, 50% commission on service sales.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily salon operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of service
Lead, motivate, and support a team of stylists
Provide outstanding customer service by addressing client needs and resolving concerns promptly
Oversee hair styling services, ensuring quality and consistency across all appointments
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in accordance with health regulations
Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and handling payments
Implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
Train new staff members on salon procedures, customer service, and product knowledge
Requirements

Proven experience in hair styling with a strong understanding of current trends and techniques.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff alike.
Strong communication skills for effective team leadership and client interactions.
Knowledge of sanitation protocols within a salon environment
Ability to upsell retail products tactfully to increase sales opportunities.
