CARE PROVIDER
Summer Opportunity

Quadriplegic female requires female staff to work within her home to provide all aspects of her care. Client requires a ventilator and electric wheelchair to manage daily activities.

    Temporary Full-Time including Weekends.  
Applicants MUST be able to work ALL shifts, which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Opportunity for more shifts with sickness coverage.


Duties would include:
    Providing all aspects of personal care
    Monitoring ventilator
        Working with a feeding pump
    Accompanying the client on all outings
    Assistance with daily living

Applicants considered:
    Motivated individuals committed to learning procedures involving personal         care/tracheostomy/ventilation, GJ Tube Feeding and assistance with independent living in the home and community.
    Special Care Aide/Home Health Aide/Continuing Care Assistant certificate, other medical backgrounds could be considered.
    Current CPR or willingness to obtain.
    Criminal and Vulnerability Record Check is required.
    Valid Drivers License preferred.

    Orientation and on-going training program are provided.
    No allergies to dogs or cats
    Familiar with handling dogs
    Non-smoking home

Wage: $ 24.00
