Description

We are seeking a Daycare Cook who is organized, reliable, and passionate about preparing nutritious meals for children. This role is essential to the daily rhythm of our centre - you'll be preparing morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack for all age groups - 18 months old up to 6 years old, following our menu plan and food-safe guidelines.

Key Responsibilitie:
-Prepare and serve daily snacks and lunch for up to 90 children
-Follow established menus
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
-Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and licensing regulations
-Manage inventory, rotate stock, and assist with ordering supplies
-Collaborate with the leadership team to support smooth daily operations
-Maintain accurate records

Qualifications:
-Experience cooking in a daycare or commercial kitchen is an asset
-Food Safe/Safe Food Handling certificate
-Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
-Strong understanding of nutrition and child-friendly meals
-Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
-Positive attitude, reliability, and a heart for supporting children's wellbeing
