Description

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be working out of the CTK Administration Building in Indian Head, SK
Proficient knowledge in recreation, sport and leisure program administration, management, delivery and evaluation, management and operation of recreation facilities and equipment, events coordination and planning, coaching theory and practice, volunteer training, development and recognition. Possess management and strong budget skills; Possess research and program development skills. Possess sound judgment, initiative and discretion to determine a course of action when working with youth; Possess good understanding of First Nations cultures, traditions and work well the youth Chief, Council, Band Staff and community. Possess teamwork and cooperation skills, conflict management skills; Possess planning, organizing and monitoring skills; Possess effective interactive communication and interpersonal skills; Possess ability to impact and influence; Be willing to work flexible hours; Must be a positive role model, drug and alcohol-free lifestyle. Must possess a vehicle and have a valid Drivers license (preferably clean drivers abstract); Must possess current First Aid & CPR Certificates or be willing to train; Must provide Criminal Record Check and vulnerable sector check with resume,Review and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current regulations and best practices. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, adjusting as necessary to improve outcomes. Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to ensure policies are effectively communicated and enforced. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on program activities and policy updates. Provide training and support to staff on new and updated policies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Possess either Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Recreation Management and completion of Recreational Facilities Operators Program and related programming.
