Description

**Job is located at the Foran Mine site, located approximately 3.5 hours northeast of Prince Albert & 85 km west of Flin Flon.

WE COVER TRANSPORTATION, MEALS, & ACCOMMODATION WHEN AT SITE.

**Job Requires shift work (11-hour days) with compressed Workweeks - 2-week in-and-out rotations.

**YOU MUST PASS A DRUG & ALCOHOL TEST.

This is a leadership role, where you'll provide support, guidance, and mentorship to staff, while ensuring food service operations meet standards of excellence. Working with the Chef and the Lodge Manager, you'll work to ensure contractual standards are met and inspire a culture of best practice among staff. We're a fast growing company with room for growth!

What you will do:
- Lead, mentor, and help manage a culinary team with the Chef.
- You will help manage food costs, inventory and schedules.
- Maintain standards for food safety, food storage, rotation, quality and appearance.

Job Requirements - Let's not waste your time:
- Experience with kitchen management within the service industry.
- Shift work at remote industrial mine site location.
- Knowledge of Vegan, Halal and Gluten allergy variation cooking skills.
- Good knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- You must be a team leader, who works well with others.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a larger team.
- Customer relation skills.
