Description

We are looking for a dependable, quick learning individual to join our team as a Dental Aide.
The suitable candidate must be friendly with strong communication and problem solving skills, can multi-task and work well in a fast paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

-Completion of post secondary education is an asset
-Prior dental assisting experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
-Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols is an asset. Completion of a self study IPC course will be required upon hire.
-Administrative and computer skills
-Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
-Should be self motivated and be able to work independently within a fast paced environment
-Must be able to multi task and work under pressure
-Must be friendly, professional, highly organized with an attention to detail
-Must be able to adhere to strict confidentiality requirements

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

-Greeting and preparing patients for examinations and dental treatment
-Preparing and setting up for dental procedures
-Chair side Assisting with Dentist and Dental Therapists
-Sterilization and Infection Control: cleaning, disinfecting dental instruments preparing and setting up for dental procedures
-Various administrative and reception duties

Salary to be negotiated based on experience
