The Camp Coordinator provides service and support in the areas of training and camping activities. The Camp Coordinator is the first point of contact for all camping activities. This position liaises with external stakeholders at various camp sites and locations, oversees the work and supplies required for each camp site, develops the curriculum and playbook for camping, develops the camp schedules, and plans the budget. This position will also assist in developing and implementing camp training.
The Camp Coordinator works with other service areas in the agency to ensure the inclusion of clinical, educational, recreational, and cultural components into the framework of all camp programs.
Services
* Develop and maintain relationships with community members, various government levels and First Nations communities surrounding our camp sites.
* Provide training to employees as a Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), Child And Residential Experience (CARE) and Camp educator.
* Coordinate the setup and tear down of all Ranch Ehrlos owned/leased campsites.
* Develop and implement a curriculum for each camp trip in Group Living Services.
* Coordinate camping opportunities for other departments as required (i.e. Education, Family Treatment Program).
* Coordinate the inventory per camp site and purchase for replacement supplies.
* Develop literature/videos surrounding our camping programs for external stakeholders.
* Design, monitor, and amend internal camping documents and forms.
* Arrange end of summer camping program celebration.
* Explore new camping and outdoor education opportunities.

* Provide leadership and support to the team, potential employees, practicum students, and volunteers as directed by the director.
