Front Desk Agent (Summer Student)  Hotel

We are looking for a friendly and reliable summer student to join our team as a Front Desk Agent. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, helping create a welcoming and positive experience throughout their stay. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the hospitality industry.

What You will Do

Greet guests and assist with check-in and check-out
Help manage reservations and room assignments
Answer guest questions and provide information about the hotel and local area
Support front desk operations, including processing payments
Work with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready
Keep the front desk area clean and organized

What We are Looking For

Current student (high school or post-secondary)
Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays during the summer

Nice to Have

Previous customer service experience
Interest in hospitality or tourism
Cash handling experience
