PWM Hydraulics Ltd / PWM Dynamics is a hydraulic cylinder manufacturer.  We pride ourselves in producing high quality custom cylinders to meet our customers needs, from our in-house engineering design to the finished product being delivered on our customers specified schedule. Our focus is providing this service to agricultural, mining, industrial, oil & gas, as well as the transportation sector to help them achieve more productivity and profit.

We are looking to hire a motivated & hardworking Welder for full-time positions in Yorkton, SK. The ideal candidate should be able to read and follow drawings, work independently and with a team, and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret design drawings to ensure welds meet specifications
Use measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers and micrometers.
Perform welding operations with MIG, TIG or robotic-assisted equipment.
Operate power tools including grinders, drill presses and hand tools.
Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment and related machinery.
Multi-task and manage time efficiently to meet production schedules
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
Conscious of and adherence to safe work practices
Support Quality Control objectives, including work within ISO environments

Requirements:

5+ years minimum previous welding experience or enrollment as a welding apprentice
Understanding of manufacturing processes such as welding, machining or assembly is an asset.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Must provide ones own transportation and independency to be at work as expected.
Must live in Canada and have permission to work in Canada.
