About the Organization:
The Virtual Health Hub is an innovative and rapidly growing organization dedicated to transforming healthcare delivery through community engagement and advanced virtual care technologies.

Role Overview:
The Public Relations & Fundraising Manager is responsible for leading the organizations external communications and revenue development efforts. This role manages media relations, brand reputation, and public messaging, while also planning and executing fundraising strategies to support organizational priorities, including a capital campaign for a new facility opening in February 2027.

Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement public relations and communications strategies that increase awareness and visibility.
    Draft press releases, media statements, key messages, and briefing notes.
    Build and maintain relationships with media and community contacts.
    Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan aligned with organizational goals.
    Lead planning and execution of a capital campaign for the new facility.
    Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with donors
    Support campaign planning, launch activities, events, and donor engagement.

Education and Qualifications:
    Minimum 5 years of experience in public relations, communications, fundraising, or a related field.
    Post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field is an asset.
    Demonstrated success in fundraising, campaign planning, or major gift development.
    Strong writing, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
    Experience managing media relations and handling sensitive or high-profile communications.
    Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and build trusted relationships.
