As a Feed Mill Operator, you are responsible for all items and duties related to the feed mill operation, including, but not limited to the efficient operation of hammer mill(s), loose oat hull pre-cleaner, groat recovery systems, and required sample testing for each function. Additionally, you may be required to load Feed Oatmeal bulk trucks.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Maximize operations in the mill on a daily basis by focusing on adjustments, testing, and operations of all equipment
Efficient processing of hulls including grinding and cleaning
Maintain efficient operation of the feed byproduct hammer mills as well as screening systems.
Must be knowledgeable in the operation, monitoring and testing processes of the metal detector as a critical control point
Maintain and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
Maintain clean work areas and perform daily sanitation tasks
