Description

We are looking for a FULL-TIME Journeyperson Electrician at the Yorkton facility to assist with all maintenance activities for our 180,000+ square foot facility, which produces all of the Harvest Meats products sold and distributed across Canada.

The successful candidate will work a consistent shift Monday to Friday. Typically 8am-4:30pm.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
-Install, troubleshoot & repair a variety of processing & packaging equipment
-Perform maintenance and repair of equipment in an efficient and timely manner
-Install, examine, replace, electrical components
-General electrical equipment installation
-Work from blueprints, diagrams, hydraulic & electrical schematics & manuals
-Maintain a hazard-free, clean & safe work area

Skills and Qualifications
-Must possess Journeyman designation
-Understanding of troubleshooting and some programming of PLC's
-Mechanically-inclined, organized, reliable and attentive to work and quality
-Able to work both individually and on a team, and collaborate with onsite contractors as required
-Thrive in all types of work environments (colder food-safe temperatures with appropriate PPE, working on your feet and with your hands, working at heights or in confined spaces, continuously lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs)
