Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the worlds largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Position and Responsibilities
-Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment in all areas of the Key Lake mill.
-High voltage switching, overhead power lines, transformation and distribution, AC and DC variable speed electric motor drive controllers.
-Complete electrical work on projects around site.
Requirements of the position:
-valid Saskatchewan or inter-provincial journeyperson electrician ticket;
-five or more years of industrial experience;
familiar with high voltage switch gear systems and solid state equipment including programmable logic controllers, AC and DC variable speed electric motor drive controllers;
-good communication skills;
-valid class 5 drivers license;
-excellent safety record; and
-work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Assets:
-SAP experience.
