Redhead Equipment has an exciting career opportunity for a Divisional Accountant based in our Regina head office. At Redhead Equipment we do Whatever It Takes to meet the needs of our customers and have been doing so for over 75 years. We deliver the most dependable brands of agricultural, truck and construction equipment across 14 locations in Saskatchewan. We are seeking an experienced Divisional Accountant to support one of our affiliated dealership operations. This is a unique opportunity for an accounting professional. Your day-to-day work will pertain entirely to the affiliated dealerships financial operations, with guidance and oversight provided by our Corporate Controller and CFO.
Key Abilities:
-Strong working knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
-High attention to detail
-Experience with dealership management software is an asset
-Professional, collaborative approach with the ability to build strong working relationships with our affiliated dealerships team.
Your responsibilities will include;
-General Ledger & Financial Reporting
-Reconciliations & Payables
-Audit & Compliance
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
-CPA designation required, or active enrollment in the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP) with a clear path to completion
-3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with demonstrated ability to manage an accounting function with a high degree of independence
-Hands-on experience with full-cycle accounting, including financial statement preparation and reconciliations
