Description

We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and creative Youth Programs Coordinator to enhance, sustain, and expand ARCAs youth programs (ages 5-17) while overseeing the planning, staffing, and delivery of our annual summer day camp. The ideal candidate will bring energy, strong project management skills, and a commitment to community development.

Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Delivery
Develop, coordinate, and implement year-round youth programs such as after-school activities, youth leadership, girls group, sport drop-ins, and special events.
Ensure programs are inclusive, accessible, safe, and aligned with ARCAs mission.

Summer Camp Leadership
Lead the planning and execution of ARCAs summer day camp (e.g., JulyAugust schedule, daily activities, partnerships, safety planning).
Recruit, train, and supervise camp staff and volunteers.
Community and Youth Engagement
Build relationships with parents, community organizations, schools, and youth participants.
Act as the primary point of contact for youth program inquiries, registrations, and communications.

Administration & Evaluation
Manage program budgets, attendance tracking, and reporting.
Evaluate program outcomes and recommend improvements.
Coordinate volunteers and oversee program logistics.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in Social Work, Education, Recreation, or related field.
Experience in youth program delivery and camp management.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings & weekends.
Standard First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
