Water Security Agency (WSA) is seeking a strategic individual to provide leadership, engineering expertise and direction in hydrological science as the Manager, Hydrology Services North to join our Hydrological Science team.
In this role, youll lead a multidisciplinary team delivering critical water management programs, including water supply planning, flood and drought mitigation, infrastructure support, and climate adaptation.
This role requires strong leadership and team development skills, deep technical expertise in hydrology and water resource management, and the ability to translate organizational priorities into impactful outcomes. You will collaborate with government, agencies, and research partners, communicate complex and sensitive information with clarity, and ensure strong governance through effective management of budgets, approvals, and formal processes. The successful candidate will have a Degree in Engineering, a license to practice professional engineering from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS), and 8 years of progressively more responsible directly related experience in hydrology, open channel flow hydraulics and reservoir water management.
