Description

The Rural Municipality of McKillop No. 220 is accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Equipment Operator.

This position will commence as soon as possible and may lead to full-time employment. Applicants are required to have a valid drivers license and provide a drivers abstract.

Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Operating various pieces of equipment
- Road maintenance including grading and snow removal
- Road building
- Installing culverts
- Mowing ditches
- Erecting Signs
- Hauling gravel
- Other duties as assigned by the Public Works Manager

Preference will be given to applicants that possess the following:
- Class 1A Drivers License with prior experience in road maintenance and building.
- Have the proven ability to operate heavy equipment such as graders, tractors and mowers, etc.
- Working knowledge of servicing and maintaining various pieces of equipment.
- Capability of working with minimal to no supervision
- Who is safety conscious, can take direction and pays attention to detail
- Strong mechanical background
- PME Training
