Program Management
Administer and interpret assessments and prepare resultant reports
Determine goals and/or appropriate intervention strategies
Provide direct/indirect intervention
Provide student updates and summaries to appropriate program personnel
Regularly monitor student progress
Make decisions regarding changes in student status (i.e. discharge, therapy
break, review, etc.)
Liaison with parent/guardians regarding at home programming when and
where indicated and/or applicable
Provide direct and/or indirect support services to teachers and administrators
in matters related to speech and hearing
Communicate assessment results to appropriate program personnel
Prioritize distribution of caseload
Determine appropriate service delivery models and/or establish waiting lists
To monitor (in compliance with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech and
Language Pathologists and Audiologist [SASLPA] regulations), at specific and
predetermined intervals, SLAs who administer direct service programs to
students
Submit monthly statistical reports
Preference will be given to an individual holding a Masters Degree in Communication
Disorders and be a licensed registered member of Saskatchewan Association of Speech
and Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA) and the Speech-Language and
Audiology Canada (SAC).
