Description

* Feed and tend to cattle, including monitoring health and behavior
* Assist with calving, tagging, and basic herd management
* Clean, maintain, and prepare barns, corrals, and equipment
* Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment (tractors, loaders, etc.)
* Handle and move livestock safely (sorting, loading/unloading)
* Perform general farm maintenance (fencing, repairs, yard work)
* Assist with haying operations (cutting, baling, hauling, stacking)
* Monitor feed and water supply for livestock
* Detect signs of illness or injury and report concerns
* Administer basic animal care under supervision (vaccinations, treatments if applicable)
* Maintain cleanliness and biosecurity standards on the farm
* Follow farm safety procedures and protocols
* Work outdoors in various weather conditions
