Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our Saskatoon Wholesale Tire team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using modern diagnostic tools and software
Complete services including oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, and wheel alignments
Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed
Collaborate with team members to complete jobs efficiently and meet deadlines
Skills and Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot diverse vehicle and equipment issues
Proficiency in hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
Experience using power tools, including drills, grinders, and impact drivers
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Effective communication skills for documenting work and coordinating with team members
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while strictly following safety protocols
