Position Summary:

North Star Supportive Housing Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Painter to assist with painting and minor suite preparation within our residential apartment buildings. This position is on a casual, as-needed basis and will support unit turnovers and general maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and paint apartment suites (walls, ceilings, trim)
Patch and repair minor wall damage prior to painting
Ensure clean and professional finishes
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Communicate with maintenance staff and supervisors regarding work progress

Qualifications:

Previous painting experience preferred
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Ability to perform physical work (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)


Additional Information:

Casual hours based on operational needs (primarily suite turnovers)
Work will take place in supportive housing environments
