Job Opportunity: Public Works Laborer - Town of Grand Coulee Closes April 30, 2026
The Town of Grand Coulee is hiring a Public Works Laborer to join our dedicated team! This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and skill development.
Position: Public Works Laborer
Hours: 30-40 hours per week (there will be weekends as well)

Compensation: Pay range between 23.00 to 25.00 per hour dependent on experience and skills

Benefits: Pension plan, sick time, and other benefit
Duties Include:
- Daily checks of waterworks and lift station
- Routine maintenance of buildings and facilitie
- Grass cutting and snow clearing
- Help Repairing water breaks and equipment, water meter reads
- Ensuring traffic signs are visible by trimming/cutting necessary foliage
- Other duties as assigned by the Foreman
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Team player with good customer service and conflict management skills
- Current Saskatchewan Drivers License
- Experience with maintenance equipment or willingness to learn

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining roads, greenspaces, and other areas
- Submitting logs and checklists monthly
- Keeping the shop and compound clean
- Taking water samples to the lab twice a week
