The Center for Biomedical Science and Allied Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Management Lead to plan, coordinate, and execute our premier scientific events series. Sponsored by Cellmolecules Scientific, this role is vital in bringing together researchers, academics, and industry professionals to share cutting-edge advancements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event logistics (4-8 years), excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex, high-pressure events from conception to post-event analysis. Key Responsibilities
Scientific Event Strategy: Lead the strategic planning and tactical execution of a series of seminars, workshops, symposia, and conferences, ensuring they align with the center's scientific goals.
Logistics & Operations: Manage all logistics, including venue sourcing, AV/technical requirements, room block management, catering, and on-site setup/teardown.
Sponsor Coordination: Act as the primary liaison with Cellmolecules Scientific to ensure brand alignment, deliver on sponsorship benefits, and manage co-sponsored initiatives.
Budget Management: Develop and oversee event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and manage invoicing and post-event financial reconciliation.
Promotion & Registration: Collaborate on marketing initiatives to increase engagement and manage attendee registration systems.
Content & Speaker Management: Coordinate with scientific committees to develop event agendas, manage speaker requirements, and ensure high-quality presentation delivery.
Post-Event Evaluation: Analyze event performance using KPIs, track participant feedback, and prepare reports with recommendations for future improvements.
