Summer Student JobSaskGalleries is seeking a creative and organized temporary Communications Officer, as part of the Canada Summer Jobs Grant program. Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful applicant will assist with communications, marketing and advertising, as well as administration for the upcoming 11th edition of the Art Now Fine Art Fair.
This is a fast-paced role perfect for someone passionate about the Saskatchewan art scene, digital marketing, and event coordination.
General duties will include, but are not limited to:
Social media: Develop plans, create professional content (reels/posts), and schedule via Canva/Instagram/Facebook.
Digital Content: Updating and uploading content for artnow.ca and saskgalleries.ca.
Event Admin: Coordinate with committees, exhibitors, and sponsors; organize promotional materials and assist with proofreading.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Experience in social media management and email marketing.
Passion for the Saskatchewan arts scene and ability to work independently.
SaskGalleries is a not-for-profit association representing established and emerging commercial art galleries within the province.
