Veritas Law LLP is looking for a permanent full-time or part-time Legal Assistant to join our busy general practice in Prince Albert, SK. The position involves assisting with drafting documents and correspondence as instructed the lawyer, communicating with clients, filing and billing.
We are looking for someone who is organized, self-motivated and who wants to work in a supportive and friendly environment.
The ideal candidate must:
- have a minimum of 1 year experience in a general practice legal setting or have completed a recognized Legal Assistant or Office Administration program
- have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- have a high degree of attention to detail
- be able to work independently
- be able to multi-task
- have strong organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
