Rods Hotrods Customs & Sales Inc. is a fast-paced and unique business that sells classic and special interest vehicles, golf carts and vintage memorabilia. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and self-motivated individual to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will manage our front desk, answer inquiries, and provide various administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Greet clients and visitors in a welcoming manner
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, as well as manage emails
Work closely with the business owner regarding day-to-day operations and streamline sales procedures by assisting with completing client paperwork and filling out sales forms
Process merchandise sales and maintain a POS system
Assist with coordination of inventory data, digital marketing and social media as needed
Spreadsheet management to track sales and stock levels
General office duties such as filing, data entry, maintaining merchandise levels, ordering supplies, paying invoices and keeping the reception area organized and clean
Qualifications
Previous experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in a similar role
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace or equivalent software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills, as we are a fast-paced workplace and are often required to switch gears on the fly
Knowledge of classic/special interest vehicles, social media, QuickBooks and website management would be an asset
