JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the food industry and eager to learn the art of cooking in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As an Entry Level Cook, you will assist in meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards.
Help with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and mixing ingredients.
Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed during meal preparation and service.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Support the kitchen team in various tasks as needed to ensure efficient operation during service hours.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery and customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is a plus but not required.
Basic knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Good communication skills to effectively interact with fellow team members.
Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks associated with cooking and cleaning.
