Northlands College is seeking an Instructor for our Adult Basic Education (ABE), English Language Arts. Located in Bigstone. The Instructor's primary responsibility will be to effectively deliver Saskatchewan curriculum content to students registered in Adult 10 and 12 programming. Areas of instruction may include the following 10, 20, or 30 level courses: English Language Arts, Indigenous Studies, or other courses as assigned. The instructor will play a crucial role in ensuring that program learning objectives are met, and students are engaged and motivated to learn. Overall, the aim will be to create a positive and successful learning environment that fosters student achievement and success. This position will be reporting to the Senior Coordinator, Adult Basic Education.
Candidate should possess a Bachelor of Education degree with the ability to teach: 30 level English, Indigenous Studies, and elective courses and must have a valid Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate and be eligible to register with Saskatchewan Professional Teachers Regulatory Board (SPTRB).
