POSITION SUMMARY
The position of Pathways to Education Student Support Worker is under the supervision of and reporting directly to the Pathways to Education Program Coordinator, and is a member of the STC Pathways to Education team.  The Pathways Student Parent Worker is responsible for building relationships with students and families in the STC Pathways to Education after-school program. You will work closely with the Pathways to Education team to ensure the identification of challenges facing students and that parents/guardians are registered with the Pathways program. You will provide ongoing communication, advocacy, and programming among students, parents/guardians understanding of the secondary school system, and their capacities to successfully engage secondary school teachers and administrators to support the achievement of the youth in the program.
