Description

Permanent Position responsible for overseeing the operation of the Spiritwood & District Rec Centre Facility, which consists of a skating arena, curling and bowling centre, and two mezzanines. Accountable to the Town and Sarcs recreation board. Attend meetings and present reports on operations. Manage scheduling of the ice in conjunction with the respective community groups. Perform regular inspections of the facility for safety and repairs, assist with scheduling of hours for volunteers and employees under various groups/committees, hire part-time employees to help operate the facility and delegate tasks, responsible for ordering supplies (concession food, pop, liquor, etc) for the facility, and other duties delegated by the Sarcs board and Town CAO.
