Description

The employee will be responsible for coordinating our School Age Summer Program. Responsibilities will include:
- Providing Childcare for children between the ages of 6years and 11 years.  Assisting with snack and mealtimes, assisting with bathroom times if needed. Providing behavior guidance as needed.
-Planning and implementing fun activities based on the children's needs and interests that promote social/emotional, cognitive, creative and physical development.
-Light house keeping duties: sweeping, mopping vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, taking out garbage.
-Communicating daily with parents and caregivers about the children's day verbally & digitally.
-must be adaptable
-must be able to work independently as well as in a team
-must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
-must have excellent problem solving skills
-familiarity with technology (tablets/computer) is an asset
Early Childhood Education Level One, Two or Three or equivalents is an
asset.  Priority will be given to candidates with Early Childhood Education and experience.
First Aid/CPR or willingness to train is a requirement.
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector is a requirement.
