Description

Reporting to the Superintendent of Transit Operations, the Transit Operations Supervisor supports day to day administrative functions while providing visible on road leadership. This role balances field supervision, incident response and people focused decision making to ensure safe, reliable and customer focused transit service.

What You Bring

- Experience in transit operations with strong understanding of safety, service delivery and operator support
- Confident decision making and problem solving skills in fast paced and complex environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage staff and the public
- Knowledge of labour relations practices, operational procedures and occupational health and safety
