Cultural Youth Support Worker
Position type: Full-Time, 1 Year Term
Closing date: Friday May 8, 2026

The Cultural Youth Support Worker will support children, aged 0  18 in land based cultural and mental health support services.  CYSW will be able to deliver programming in addressing positive mental health activity, inclusive of counselling, cultural teachings, and land-based programming.  The CYSW will empower children/youth to become active, social, and engaged to be included in the family and community.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
    Must have completed a grade 12 education
    Provide a clean, current CPIC and Vulnerable Sector Check
    Valid Drivers License
    Must role model a healthy lifestyle
    Willing to work in the evening and weekends
    A strong commitment to young people and an understanding of the factors affecting their lives
    Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish good relationships with young people
    Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
    Knowledge and understanding of First Nations culture
