Job Description: The vision of Kidsfirst Saskatoon is that children who are vulnerable enjoy a good start to life and are nurtured/supported by caring families/communities. The program focuses on early intervention/prevention with children and families prenatal to age five, on a volunteer basis and living in Saskatoon. Components of the program include screening/assessment, home visiting, child care, early learning, mental health & addictions, nutrition, speech & language services and familiy support. Reporting to the Kidsfirst Manager the Program Facilitator collaborates with team members, community partners, program participants and key stakeholders to develop curricula, train/support Kidsfirst staff, co-facilitate group programs, develop/participate in quality assurance initiatives and assist in program development/service delivery. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
