Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Pipe Layer / Pipe Fitter to join our growing team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining underground piping systems for water, sewer, and storm infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is hardworking, safety-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Install and align underground piping systems (water, sewer, storm)
Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and site plans
Ensure proper pipe slope, alignment, and grade
Assist with trenching, shoring, and backfilling operations
Operate hand tools and work alongside heavy equipment operators
Perform inspections and testing of installed systems
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean worksite

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a pipe layer, pipe fitter, or similar role preferred
Knowledge of underground utility installation and grading
Ability to read plans and use grade equipment (laser level, transit, etc.)
Valid drivers license (Class 5 minimum; higher class an asset)
