Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide range of projects, including landscaping, snow removal, water and sewer, demolition, and excavation work.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
Review drawings, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate project scopes
Perform quantity take-offs for civil, landscaping, and earthworks projects
Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes
Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure estimates align with execution
Track project costs and assist with budgeting and forecasting

Project Types Include:
Landscaping (hardscape, softscape, grading)
Snow removal contracts
Water & sewer installation/repair
Demolition projects
Excavation and site development

Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction estimating (civil, landscaping, or excavation preferred)
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Valid drivers license
