Description

The Nest Health Centre is hiring a full-time Night Custodial Supervisor to oversee overnight cleaning operations while working closely with the Operations Director. This role combines hands-on custodial work with leadership responsibilities, including coordinating tasks, tracking inventory, supporting team accountability, and ensuring the facility maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Team Support
Act as the primary point of contact for overnight custodial staff
Provide direction, support, and guidance to team members during shifts
Monitor performance and ensure cleaning standards are consistently met
Communicate team updates, concerns, and needs directly to the Operations Director
Custodial Duties (Mandatory)
Perform all regular cleaning tasks including:
Sanitizing high-touch surfaces
Cleaning washrooms, common areas, and treatment spaces
Floor care (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming)
Waste removal and restocking supplies
Task & Operations Coordination
Work with the Operations Director to develop and update cleaning schedules and task lists
Ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and to standard
Inventory Management
Track cleaning supplies and equipment usage
Maintain organized storage areas
Report inventory needs and assist the Operations Director with ordering
Reporting & Communication
Act as a liaison between custodial team members and the Operations Director
Ensure clear and timely communication of operational updates
Document and report maintenance issues or safety concerns
Qualifications
Previous custodial or janitorial experience required
Experience in a supervisory or leadership role is an asset
Ability to work independently and lead a team overnight
Work Schedule
Overnight shift: 10:00 PM  6:00 AM
Must be available for consistent overnight work, including weekends as required.
