Description

Seeking a Plant Manager for their North Battleford facility. This hands-on leadership role focuses on daily plant operations, team supervision, and driving improvements to bring the facility to full operational capability. If you lead from the floor, take ownership, and deliver results, this could be a great fit.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily plant operations including production, cleaning, sizing, splitting, loading/unloading, and maintenance while ensuring food safety and quality standards
Identify operational issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency and output
Supervise and support staff while ensuring compliance with safety standards, policies, and legislation
Manage grain specifications, receiving standards, and equipment performance
Support maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability
Foster a positive culture focused on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Assist with budget tracking and cost management
Monitor plant performance and support reporting, planning, and process improvements
Build relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and customers
Work closely with leadership to align operations with company goals

Qualifications
Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience
5+ years in plant, processing, or manufacturing environments with leadership responsibility
Food manufacturing, agri-food, or regulated processing experience is an asset
Knowledge of safety regulations and food safety standards
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable with budgeting and cost management
Proficiency with maintenance planning/documentation software
Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset
Electrical certifications (433A, 442A, or 309A) are considered an asset)
