The Town of St. Brieux invites applications for the position of Municipal Clerk. This part-time role is integral to the effective administration of municipal operations and the delivery of services to residents and Council.
The position requires a minimum of three (3) days per week with additional hours as operational requirements dictate. Flexibility in scheduling is required.
Key Responsibilities
utility billing and account maintenance
utility and property tax payments in accordance with municipal bylaws and policies
public inquiries via telephone, email, and in-person
municipal facility bookings and rentals
weekly updating of the municipal website and social media platforms
grant applications, reporting, and compliance requirements
Qualifications
strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong telephone etiquette
proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism
ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a small-office environment
$24-$28/hour
