Description

The Curling Camp Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering youth curling camps for athletes of all skill levels. The role ensures a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment while coordinating program logistics, staffing, scheduling, communications, and sponsorship support.

This is a three-month term position starting in June, working approximately 37.5 hours per week. A flexible work arrangement for onsite camp duties and admin work, with remote office options available.  

Applicants must be 18 to 30 years of age, legally entitled to work in Canada to meet Canada Summer Jobs program eligibility requirements.

Availability is required from August 17 to 26 (inclusive) for camp delivery, including some evening and weekend work during camp sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver curling camp programming, schedules, and activities
- Coordinate coaches, instructors, and volunteers
- Oversee daily camp operations and participant experience
- Manage registration, communications, and logistics
- Coordinate facility bookings, ice time, and equipment
- Support sponsorship and community partner relationships
- Ensure Safe Sport, safety, and risk management compliance
- Promote camps and communicate with participants and families
- Collect feedback for program improvement

Qualifications
- Experience in sport, program, event, or volunteer coordination (curling experience an asset but not required)
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to work with coaches, volunteers, and community partners
- Leadership skills and a collaborative approach
- First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Safe Sport certification and Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector required prior to start
