Position Overview and Responsibilities
PBCN Health Services is seeking motivated and experienced Advanced Care Paramedics (ACP) to fill full-time Triage Paramedic positions in our community health centres in Deschambault Lake, Pelican Narrows and Southend.
The Triage Paramedic will work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary healthcare team and report directly to the Nurse Coordinator. This role is critical in supporting after-hours clinical services, patient assessment, triage, emergency response and stabilization in a northern remote healthcare setting.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) license in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics
- Experience working in a triage role is considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 drivers license and ability to meet physical demands
- Ability to speak Cree is an asset
- Ability to work independently in a remote healthcare environment
- Willing to take cultural competence training
- Current Satisfactory Criminal Record Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Check, and Drivers Abstract

Work Schedule (Subject to Change)
- Working 7 days on / 7 days off, Wednesday to Wednesday
- Working 9pm to 9am with an unpaid half hour lunch break (11.5 hour shifts)
